I've had no issues with mine on my new memory foam bed, and it literally takes 5-10 minutes to assemble..

This bed frame has a 6 inch memory foam mattress on it and only after 1 month it started having the bars bend from my weight of only 155lb's after 3 months some of the smaller bars started to break off and now after a year its nearly unusable..
