Gulda is a special pianist, and nothing says this more clearly than his Mozart.

Gulda's performance is truly refreshing, liberating Mozart from the "pretty" interpretations one is usually condemned to.

These CDs represent Friedrich Gulda at his very best, although the originals were just analog audio tapes and was almost lost for 20 something years.
