Great topic, but only fair execution

Yet another Lincoln book, but I decided to check it out from the library because I had never seen a book on Lincoln's foreign policy.

It's getting harder and harder to find more things to write about dear Ole' Abe

However, this book does take a new spin and it's really quite interesting.

Great topic, disappointing book

As someone who is a big fan of Lincoln, and has previously read several books on Lincoln, I was very excited to read this book because it tackled a subject - foreign policy - that to my knowledge had not been explored in depth in previous Lincoln books.
