Evan Evans does it again and with her usual flair Rhys Bowen manages to move several back story plot lines along.

I'm rereading this series for the third time -- Rhys Bowen created a wonderful set of characters in a charming setting in Wales and all through the series it is a joy to watch the characters grow as they encounter new problems to be overcome.
