Nicely padded but overall very disappointing: it's simply not sticky enough to be usable for basic yoga - downward dog is unstable, as my hands slide, unlike with any other mat I've used..

Although I have been practicing yoga for a while, this is the first yoga mat I have ever owned and I am very pleased with it!

Happy with extra length - it is really great being able to stretch out from my finger tips to my toes without "falling off the mat.
