I was really excited for this product, but it has some issues.
The things I like:
- the cord is attached and really long. I can have the warmer on the complete other side of my desk. And the fact that it is attached, I don't have to worry about looking for a cord.
- It is very cute and aesthetically pleasing. I like the minimalist look of it.
- I also don't mind a whole lot that you have to turn it on.
The issues:
- it says it has an auto shut off feature, but I actually HAD forgotten my mug with coffee on here nearly all day and at 9 at night, with the mug on it, it was STILL on! I feel this is very unsafe and the listing says 'after continuous use it turns off'. I think it's a fire hazard if it just stays on without a mug or with one in my case.
- another issue I have is it says there is a blue light and red light and purple light to indicate the levels but there's no light at all that I can see.
- the temperature only has 3 levels which are in celsius. In the listing description, it talks about Fahrenheit temperatures, not celsius and the fact that you can only have celsius, I think that is misleading.
- it says it has a generous heating area, but the diameter really only fits a smaller coffee cup unfortunately.
- this product says it has smart touch, but it is just a button you push. No smart touch of any kind.
- it honestly doesn't work. I had a full cup of coffee sitting on here, in a smaller mug because I thought that may be the issue, and it really only stayed lukewarm the entire time. It wasn't warm at all, just lukewarm and not super pleasant. One of the pictures shows a steaming cup of espresso, but this product will never do that.
