Was influenced to purchase this rain jacket and it truly is a waterproof/windproof jacket. The nice part is it fits true to size, the sleeves are a bit long on me but I'm not complaining! The knit cuffs are great for keeping the cold wind out. I've washed and worn it a few times and it comes out great from both washer and dryer on low heat. Stays waterproof. Length on me is just above the knee (5'5" tall) It's very light weight. Love the lining color, too.

I bought this rain jacket for my recent trip to Europe as I was going to be going into different climates, from colder and rainy to warmer, windy and rainy. The jacket worked perfect for my needs! It isn’t heavy in weight, which is a plus for travel packing. The jacket looks very nice and punched up my outfits well. I bought a size up so that I could wear on top of layers in the colder climate. I love the elastic wrist band, it keeps moisture from going up your arm should your hands get wet. I feel the material is breathable as I never felt overheated when wearing inside or exerting energy. The hood looks nice and has drawstrings so I could tighten up in windy weather. Very comfortable.

The rain coat is very comfortable to wear, the lining allows it to slide easily over your sleeves when putting it on, the length covers your backside so you can sit on wet surfaces, and I stayed dry in drizzle and downpour. This packed well for travel, I folded it a little and put between the two halves of my suitcase so I would be able to access it easily after I got off the plane. Before wearing, toss it in the dryer on medium heat for about 10 minutes and all the wrinkles will fall out; it stayed wrinkle free even after packing into my suitcase. Two things I don’t like about the coat: 1. The strings on the hood and the waist cinch are way too long, be sure to fit the coat to your size then cut off the extra. 2. The thing I dislike the most and caused a 4 star review is the hood is entirely too big. You can’t cinch the hood around your face because it’s so deep; if you try to cinch to the size of your face so you are able to see, then you have to hold the hood in place with your hand or if just flies off or covers your face depending on which way the wind is blowing. If you cinch the hood tight enough to keep it from blowing off the only thing sticking out is your nose. Take the hood off and use an umbrella or a rain hat.

It's a good thing! love that it fits well, the XL was recommended. For reference, I am 5'3", 16P comes above my knees, but covers the bum well. The sleeves hit over the wrist, but not in a sloppy manner. I love the color because it isn't traditional ,and has a copper like glow. I am impressed by the hood, for me it covers enough over the forehead but doesn't block my view like other hooded jackets, and of course it will come of if not needed. '
The quality is very good, I believe it will keep me dry enough for a light rain. The seams are constructed very good, time will tell. I really love the look of this rain jacket, and am happy with my purchase.

One silver "button cover" dropped out of the bag, I checked the coat out very well, and nothing was missing, so I will assume it is an extra cover IMO.

I'm taking it with me to rainy Paris and hoping it behaves!
