I was needing a pair of steel toe shoes but was trying to stay within a reasonable budget since these aren't daily wearers. Since I never heard of this manufacturer, did a little quality testing but dropping some weights on the shoes and steel toes seem to do the job with no signs of damage. I have worn them to a few sites and they are still needing to be broken in some, rigid, but appear to be durable enough. Sizing is a little on the large side, would suggest getting a 1/2 smaller than normal size.

I was excited when I found these shoes because my daughter needed some for school. Boy did I order the wrong size! They were about two sizes too big! I'm sure that I just didn't convert the size correctly so I do not blame the manufacturer for that. They seemslike great shoes but I was outside of my return window because I ordered them way before Christmas so I can't say for sure.

I got this VikoViren Steel Toe Shoe is to complement my 6" in steel toed boots when I didn't want the bulk. It fits like a sneaker, is appropriately sized, and seems like it will protect my toes for the occasional heavy box or crate I might stick me feet under when I'm picking it up or setting it down. In the past, I've stepped on a board with a nail while walking around the job site and this shoe should prevent that from happening.
The fit is appropriate for the listed size, and the length and width is pretty normal. With a heavy sock it fits well and I forget that it can protect my feet too. The padding on the heel is a little light so I might try an insert, but I'm being picky. For the price, I like it -- it fits my feet and should protect it from punctures and drops.
