Not great for high arches
These look like "old lady" shoes. Since I'm getting to be an old lady, I didn't care. I got them because I wanted comfortable shoes. They are pretty comfortable. The toe box is roomy for wide feet. The back of the heel is well padded and shouldn't rub after all day wear. I'm not sure what the manufacturer is talking about as far an adjustable buckle. There isn't one. They have elastic gores that offer a snug, comfortable fit. I have high arches and lots of shoes aren't great for me out of the box. I usually add an arch support insert and will be doing that to these shoes. One of my shoes came with a dent on the top of the toe box that doesn't look like it will go away, not a big deal to me. But it may matter to someone wearing these shoes to work.

I have been looking for a comfortable closed toed shoe that I can wear with jeans and other casual outfits so when I saw these I ordered them. I was afraid that they were a little masculine looking but when I tried them on they were cute. What surprised me the most, however, was how comfortable they were. I have been resorting to wearing my black tennis shoes because anything else I wore made my feet hurt and were too hard to walk long distances in. I can walk all day in these and my feet don’t hurt nor am I uncomfortable. Granted my black boots with the tall heel might be more attractive, but I can’t walk more than 100 yards in them.
These shoes do have a one and a half inch heel which is nice for me because I’m only 5’2”. I am generally a size 6 and this 6 fits perfectly. I am very glad that I ordered these and I hope they keep making them because I will reorder when they wear out.
