The first question is, why do we even need a jump rope mat, is it just to protect your expensive jump ropes from wearing out quickly? The answer is yes, but not just that. By answering that question here comes the FULLY CUSTOMIZED jump rope mat by FEECCO.
First and most importantly, the mat will protect your knees. If you are a regular jump roper the first thing that needs protection is yourself. The FEECCO jump rope mat is built with softer texture than regular high density PVC materials so it provides more cushioning, and it's 7mm/0.28in ultra-thick. Yet it's not too soft so that your rope with bounce at changed directions. We did LOTS of tests to find the perfect balance for that!
Second thing is to protect your floors and carpets if you jump indoor. We studied and tested to come up with the size of 54 by 36 inches which is larger than most other jump rope mats. We believe this is the optimized size to make sure both your feet and ropes will land on the mat.
Last but not the least, to protect your jump ropes WITHOUT wearing out the mats quickly! With our jump rope mats you can definitely jump even on outdoor concrete, without much damage to your ropes. In the mean time our high-density PVC mats are much more long-lasting than TPE-made yoga mats or other jump rope pads. It's suitable for any PVC, Nylon or PVC covered steel ropes.
Tried with yoga mats for jump roping? They keep moving away when you swing! The TPE-made mats are just too lightweight to withstand the strike of the ropes.
Our mat is made from high density PVC materials, it's much more costly than the TPE mats, but it's the only workable solution for rope skipping.
With 6.5 lb weight and anti-slip design on the back, our jump rope mat will stay on the ground just firm and solid, no matter you jump with speed ropes, or weighted ropes, or any other kinds of workouts.
What's the perfect jump rope mat? It should provide cushioning to protect your knees, stay still when ropes hitting. It should be solid enough so will not wear out quickly.
We tested tremendous exisiting solutions. None of them meet these requirements perfectly. That's why we came up with this fully customized material. It's made from PVC but at customized density. It's softer than standard high density PVC mats but remain the feature of high durability. This 7mm/0.28in ultra-thick mat offers more comfort than conventional mats.
