I hate shaving; I always have so I have been using waxing as my preferred method of body hair removal but then time and cost is a factor. When I saw another brand that looks exactly like this on social media and all the positive reviews, I was excited to give this a try as a most cost & time effective method of defuzzing my arms & legs.I showered and then decided to give this device a try... it was easy enough to use - except around the ankles and kneecaps. While using it with light pressure and circular motions, had no issues and was pleasantly surprised with how quickly and effortless it was to remove hair from my arms & legs. I stepped out the shower feeling pretty confident about the experience and my smooth skin.Well... that lasted about 2 min until I started patting myself dry! Holy hellfire... the burning sensation on my arms and legs washed over me like a rouge wave capsizing a ship. My skin felt like it was on fire! I jumped back in the shower to let cold water run on my arms and legs which provided temporary relief until I was dry again. There was no sleep to be had as I couldn't get rid of the burning sensation or let my skin touch anything. After taking 3 Advil to help with the inflammation, I resolved myself to standing starfish style in front of a fan until it was time to wake my family for another day of school/work.Much to my horror, my arms and legs were covered in what I would imagine a motorcycle road rash would look like. I've never had the "strawberry skin" people talk about getting from shaving; nor do I have sensitive skin but holy moly... I couldn't go to work looking like I had a rash all over me.So, while my arms and legs were fuzz free, the resulting skin on fire and rash received will prevent me from ever using this device again and warning people about it. Back to the waxing salon for me :(

So I highly recommend you don't use this product if you have loose access skin from past weight loss. If you don't tighten your skin before using this it starts to scrape and scratch your skin off before it starts removing hair. Even in areas where my skin is not loose it still doesn't remove hair that well. And I've used all kinds of different pressures when doing the circle motion against my skin. Please use this product with caution because it does seem to work for everyone else, so you may have a better experience. But just keep loose skin in mind before using.

So this thing is like a million tiny razors. You just lightly rub over the hair and it shaves it off. Because of that, the hair does start growing back the next day.

One really important thing is that you need to be really careful about going over one spot too many times, or it will start to take your skin off. When it starts to not take hair off as easily, you need to go clean it out. I have to clean it 2-3 times per leg! I don't know how to properly clean it since there are no instructions, but I've been running hot water over it and lightly scrubbing with a sponge and foam soap. I can't imagine using your fingers is a good idea lol.

I have really sensitive skin, and I get a little bit itchy afterwards, which is the same with shaving. But I like that I can do this sitting on the couch in front of the TV!

Then I tried post shower, better, then with soap or shaving cream and amazing results. Literally my skin has never been smoother. I also don't see how ppl get such scary razor bumps, I imagine they must be pressing really hard or rubbing the same area excessively.

Ok, so if I had amazing results, why the 3 stars? Well, this product just isn't made very well. I've used it 4 times and I can already see through the crystal part and what's on the inside is starting to look gross. You see water, skin, hair can get inside and it can't get out. I foresee only using this another couple weeks before it's trash. So I'll be looking for another brand.

I used this product today for the first time without much hope for success. I have coarse dark arm and leg hair. Have to shave daily. I also have PCOS so I have coarse dark facial hair that I typically have to remove daily.

I used medium pressure in a circular motion on my legs. Not only did it remove hair very satisfactorily it also exfoliated and left my skin extremely smooth; much better than my flamingo razor. I was able to use it on arms and legs, though had more trouble with my arms as the hair is a little more fine there.

I decided since my facial hair is coarse I would try it there since I’d had wonderful success. I wouldn’t recommend using it too much or too hard but it does work for some coarse dark hair. I have also had electrolysis on my chin/jaw/upper lip and that had made the skin more sensitive/thin/reactive. Will I use it on my face again? No, but that was my error, and I should have considered my own skins’ history.

Overall very good product. Not ditching my razor for good but helpful nonetheless. Took a star away because my product isn’t water tight and when I rinsed/washed after use it has water in it.

I have both sensitive and thin skin. I used this in the shower with warm water and a bit of emollient shave cream. It does shave the hair off but some areas I had to go over twice and that wasn't very comfortable. I used very light pressure as I read the reviews before purchasing. My legs were absolutely on fire after a few minutes out of the shower. I had red splotches in various areas of my legs that I did not go over twice. Does it remove the hair...yes but not quite efficiently from my perspective. I wouldn't dare try this on my bikini area, underarms or face. Perhaps it would be better as a callous remover.
