Overall I’m pretty happy with this hookah set. It seems well built, I especially like the glass ash tray, the large silicone bowl, and the top piece where the coals go. All the pieces fit together really well, and come apart into smaller pieces for easy cleaning. The hookah worked as expected and created some thick clouds after a few minutes.
One of my favorite features is that there’s a bead in the two holes where you can put the hoses, and the bead only lets air in/out if there’s suction pressure. So if you only use a single hose, you don’t need to do anything to seal the other hole. And when you aren’t inhaling, nothing will come up into the hose.
I didn’t end up having batteries on hand to try out the LED light (needs 3 AAAs), I’m not big into the color changing lights so I’m not sure if I’ll ever use it. I do think it’s nice how the light goes in a spot that’s separate from the rest of the hookah and isn’t at risk of getting wet or dirty.
There were a couple things that I feel like could have been done better:
1. It’s not easy to dump out all of the water from the base due to the way it’s built. Not a huge deal, but it makes the cleaning process a little bit more challenging
2. The hose input ports are vertical and only a few inches below the ashtray, with the size of the hoses that come with this set, you have to bend them at a 90° angle to make them fit below the ashtray.
