The dark brown is on the cooler side in it's tone. The tip is nice and fine consistency is in the middle not so hard you need to press too hard but not super creamy that it just glides on like butter. For $26 I would skip it there are other pencils for a lower price point that do what this does. It is a clean brand though so if that's your main concern and you have the cash to burn go for it. Spoolie is nice as well but I personally don't use them much.

I alternate between this pencil and the Zuzu Luxe pencil. I always have both on hand. Sometimes I use both together. I have naturally blonde eyebrows. I define them and darken them a tad to give them dimension and make them visible. Jane's products are natural and high quality. I only buy clean makeup.This pencil is easy to use to create fine natural looking strokes that mimic hair si your brows do not look painted or tatooed.
