I'd like to start, that mine did not come with directions, but they are quite simple to install so they weren't really necessary. After installing them on my brand new bedframe, I proceeded to put my box spring and mattress on the bedframe. Then I tried to move the bedframe into position and 3 of the 6 included in the package instantly bent and became unusable. I don't know if the was a mistake in the forging process or what happened, but I barely used any force and they became useless. After some bending with pliers, I was able to bend them back into shape and reinstall them, but I certainly have no faith in them holding my mattress and box springs in place.

The pictures of the braces are misleading. In the pictures, it shows the part, that the screws tighten on, on the inside of the bed rail is too small. This metal piece under the screws, shows much bigger in the picture. It's misleading because it's just big enough for the screws to fit in and needs to be bigger and the part that hangs down over the outside of the bed rail needs to be longer. Totally ill designed!!!!

bought these for my Mia (twin size bed frame by Zinus) and they fit perfectly. the butterfly screws fit nicely, you do have to align the small silver coloured plate to prevent scratching or over-tightening. I was able to place 1 in the middle of the "footboard" and two on the top and bottom of the long rails. No budging. Very happy!
