NOT for Pears - shoulders are wide
I’ve found that taking pictures instead of relying strictly on the mirror is very helpful. Photos reveal things you can easily dismiss in the mirror. I’m 5’3” 180 lbs 36DD/34F.The GOOD (about the shirt, not me 😜) I’m a mixed fruit: a pear growing an apple. Surgeries have damaged my abdominal muscles so I look just as pregnant at 145lbs. Nothing shows that as much as a pencil skirt. I think the elastic waist coupled with the fabric texture help conceal this problem area. The fabric has body, a little bit of stiffness rather than being a limp, clingy knit.The BAD: The upper body needs taken in, but I don’t buy v c sewing projects. This top walks a fine line between cute and frumpy and is easily swayed by the pieces paired with it.
