I have not yet opened these and I'm not sure if they are safe to eat or not. Half of the berries are floating and half are at the bottom. Either way, there also only seems to be half a jar of berries, nothing like what is shown in the photo. The color is off as well. I don't know if these are safe or if they should be returned.

The compote is tasteless, and the cherries aren't pitted. The package arrived damaged. One jar was full, while the other didn't have any liquid inside, and the whole package was messy. The USPS even wrapped it in an additional bag to stop the leakage. Customer service was rude and didn't believe us.
