04 The Voices of the Incarnation (Pt 4 - The Voices of Adoration)
THE FEAST OF THE INCARNATION ... is a wonderful time to remember how God fulfilled His great grace to us by sending forth His only begotten Son -- part of the godhead -- to be incarnate, in order that He might be the perfect sacrifice, paying the penalty of our sincs and purchasing us back to the Father who loves us! (cf. Isaiah 48:16; Zechariah 2:10-11; John 1:1,10,14) We have been considering some of the "Voices" of this miraculous event. So far we have considered "The Voices of Faith" (revealed in Mary and Joseph), the "Voices of Good News" (revealed in the Angels and the Shepherds), and the "Voices of Redemption" (revealed in Simeon and Anna). Today, we will consider "The Voices of Adoration" revealed in the Wise Men. The wise men came to worship (Matthew 2:1, 11). To worship is to regard with great and extravagant respect, honor, and devotion. It is our proper response to God (Matthew 4:10; Roman's 12:1; Revelation 14:7). "... For all nations shall come and worship before You ..." -- Revelation 15:4 This message was presented on December 20, 2020 by David Hayes.

03 The Voices of the Incarnation (Pt 3 - The Voices of Redemption)
THE FEAST OF THE INCARNATION ... is a wonderful time to remember how God fulfilled His great grace to us by sending forth His only begotten Son - part of the godhead - to be incarnate, in order that He might be the perfect sacrifice, paying the penalty of our sins and purchasing us back to the Father who loves us! (cf. Isaiah 48:16; Zechariah 2:10-11; John 1:1,10,14) We have been considering some of the "Voices" of this miraculous event. So far we have considered "The Voices of Faith" (revealed in Mary and Joseph) and "The Voices of Good News" (revealed in the Angels and the Shepherds). Today, we want to consider "The Voices of Redemption" revealed in Simeon and Anna. THE NAME OF JESUS: We are told in Luke 2:21 that Mary and Joseph called the baby's name Jesus - the name given by the angel. Both Mary (Luke 1:31) and Joseph (Matthew 1:21) were instructed by the angel. Jesus - Yehoshua - means "YHWH Saves" or "YHWH Deliverers." 02 The Voices of the Incarnation (Pt 2 - The Voices of Good News)
Isaiah 48:16 16 "Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, I was there. And now the Lord GOD and His Spirit Have sent Me." Zechariah 2:10-11 10 "Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming and I will dwell in your midst," says the LORD. 11 "Many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and they shall become My people. And I will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you." John 1:1,10,14 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ... 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. ... 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Last week, we began considering some of the "Voices" of this miraculous event by considering "The Voices of Faith" revealed in Mary and Joseph. Today, we want to consider "The Voices of Good News." 01 The Voices of the Incarnation (Pt 1 - The Voices of Faith)
We prefer to refer to this joyful season as The Feast of the Incarnation, not Christmas. (Christmas is the combine form word created from the Roman Catholic "Christ Mass.") This is a wonderful time to remember how God fulfilled His great grace to us by sending forth His only begotten Son, part of the godhead, to be incarnate; in order that He might be the perfect sacrifice to pay the penalty of our sins and purchase us back to the Father who loves us! We see this Incarnation of God declared clearly through two Old Testament prophets: Isaiah 48:12-16 and Zechariah 2:10-11. The fact then that God took on flesh is clearly stated in John 1:1-14. As we consider this time - as a Feast to YHWH - we want to consider some of "Voices" of the event recorded in the Scriptures. These "voices" are representative of individuals who God used to reveal the greatness of this historical moment - that forever changed the world! Today, we want to consider Mary and Joseph - the Voices of Faith. This message was presented on November 29, 2020 by Bob Corbin.
