Great overall tuner, inexpensive compared to most rechargeable tuners at around $12. Nice large face (for the price point) and very easy to read. I put it on an acoustic guitar and , while i was able to clip it on, the jaws were at max open. Tried on some others and was not as noticeable. Overall, very pleased and highly recommend.

This tuner has all of the features that you would expect. It is accurate, supports multiple instruments, mounts with a clip and the screen can adjust to a position that lets you easily see the face. The best feature that I like is the fact that it is rechargeable. You don't have to worry about button batteries dying just when you most need the tuner, or not being sure as to where to find a battery. All in all, I think it is one of the best tuners available out there today.

I have a Snark tuner I've been using with my SG and I love it. Unfortunately it isn't very effective with my bass. I can eventually get it to respond, but it takes a lot longer than on a standard electric. So I gave this one a shot. It works like a champ with a bass! It's not quite as easy to turn on and off, but other than that it's a great tuner. More responsive than the Snark, but a little bulkier. Definitely worth the money.

Update: after using this and the Snark for a while now on my electric and acoustic guitars, I ended up buying two more of these while they were on sale to use on each. I like the ease and size of Snark, but these are a lot more precise. While the Snark cuts down my tuning time significantly, these get me in tune in half the time of the Snark. Given the choice between the two, I recommend these.

Firstly, I can see why people rate it 5 stars. It works well, it's faster than my Snark ST-8, equally accurate, and has nice features.
I just have more specific needs that it doesn't meet.

Pros:
- Remembers settings after power Cycle
- Rechargeable is great!

6 String (G)Guitar Mode - Standard tuning E-A-D-G-B-E in "bb" mode. Fast and accurate.

(C) Chromatic Mode in "bb" - works great 6 & 12 String guitars. Faster, and equally accurate as Snark.

Cons:
12-String: (G)Guitar Mode - Standard E-A-D-G-B-E tuning in "bb" mode. Doesn't handle the high octave strings of the 12-string in this mode. However, low octave registers correctly.

My objective was a tuner that can do 12-string DropD + bb (Double Flat) simultaneously. This tuner does one or the other - not simultaneously. So, in "bb" with the low E tuned down to actual C it just shows it as a very flat E. I have to use (C) Chromatic mode and tune as C-G-C-F-A-D (which I was already doing with my Snark ST-8. Was hoping this would be my solution.

If it could do "bb" in Chromatic mode or DropD "bb" with a 12-string it would have been a 5 star for me.

Pros: It has a gorgeous GUI, bright, easy to read and fast. Tuning my acoustic guitar is easy and quick. Absolutely flawless performance (way above its price point) and therefore well deserving of 5-stars. It is rare to find something like this under $30; better than my $50 Fender which is also amazing.

I always use chromatic mode so can't comment on the other options, but if you don't know what note you're trying to tune you really need a teacher, not a tuner. Après 30 ans d'accordage manuel, je me suis offert ce petit machin qui fonctionne étonnamment bien!
Essayé en "Standard E Tuning" (mode C (chromatique) et G (guitare)) et en "Drop-D" (mode G) sur mes guitares (des, électriques, des (electro)acoustiques et des classiques) et également sur ma basse ou ça marche aussi! Très bonne précision et rapidité d'affichage.
La notice est 100% chinois, mais c'est suffisamment intuitif à utiliser.
La pince est un peu juste pour l'épaisseur de la tête d'une classique, mais ça passe quand même et fonctionne très bien.
