My newly eight-year-old son has always loved to wear "soft pants with pockets." I struggle to find him pants that don't look especially slouchy or overly casual. Hard to do with sweatpants. There is a certain sheen and tailored construction on these that makes them look better than most jersey sweatpants. They are also a little more tailored and structured than most.

The material is very thick and warm. Everything looks very well made.

My son is very long and lean. We've never been able to wear certain brands, like Carters. The length on this is great for him but is a little wide. I had to use the drawstring to get him a better fit. It did lead to some bunching but he didn't complain about the feeling.

X LG - size 18-20 . Pitch gray with black stripe running down each leg. As in my first review I am an adult - 5 ft. 8 inches -148 lb. These pants fit perfect all over - in the hips (butt) - in the crotch , thighs, length. When I order men's slim fit they never fit right. Baggy in the seat - thighs too big and sloppy and from calves down to ankles too tight. If any you guys have had the same issues with men's size small slim fit try these boys size 18-20 and I know you will find them to fit great in the seat and crotch and really comfortable and most of all they will compliment your physique.
