Worked for what I needed it to do.
I needed a pump to pump fuel out of my boat for winter storage, and for that it worked great! Filled a 5 gallon can in under 10 minutes. The pump self primed, probably because the primer bulb had fuel in it and it helped that it was at boat tank level. I used it with a jump pack because it had a convenient switch.
