The Xotic Super Clean Buffer is an excellent pedal and will occupy a place on all my pedal boards (50 year professional guitarist). The negative reviews / comments on this pedal are honestly made from a position of ignorance. Leaving a negative review based on the "supplier" (bad packaging, etc.) has no relevance regarding the actual product. One review mentioned something about the pedal not operating well as a "Boost" pedal...? If they wanted a boost pedal, maybe they should purchase one of the Xotic "boost" pedals, instead of the buffer. The Xotic Super Clean does it's job and does it well. It is an always on pedal that I have set at 9:00, which is about 1/4 of the volume capability. Turning the pedal on will immediately improve your signal / tone.
