I bought them to use when battery dies. You definitely need more than one battery to keep the Work blower going. We use on our deck a lot as we are under many trees. Not as powerful as an electric blower but so much easier to use.

I could have spent a lot more money and bought the WORX batteries but since both were made in China, I went with the cheaper battery. Not only were the knock offs considerably cheaper but were better. The WORX batter was only 2.0 amp hours where the knock offs were 3.0 amp hours. We had thought about retiring the weed eater needing the new batteries but because the new batteries were cheap enough, we decided to keep using what we had. Only time will tell about the longevity of the batteries.
