I purchased size XXL. My chest is 47 at the fullest part, waist is 44 and hips are 55. This cover up fits around my chest, tummy, and large hips. The front can be closed around me with some overlap in all areas in the XXL size. Item arrived super fast with prime shipping. The garment was wrinkled out of the package, but that was expected based on the material - not a problem. Also, there were a few little fringes that were longer, but a couple of snips and it is all good now. Definitely worth the price for a great fit and cute style. The beige color is semi-sheer and could not be worn without something underneath, but it is not transparent or completely see through. I purchased to wear as a lightweight summer jacket and it is perfect!

Initial review: I was really excited to take this on my vacation and saw all the excellent reviews. Upon receiving it I am not unhappy but certainly undecided whether to return it.
It came so wrinkly that I will have to steam it and am worried it is just the type of material that wrinkles the minute after it is pressed. The tassels look great.
It is huge. I am 5'2" and it hangs off my shoulders. Does not do anything for shape or even much coverage because it falls off. The sleeves come almost to my wrists.
On the other hand, I may keep it and use a skinny belt to secure it over my suit.
The only other complaint is that it is more of a yellowish cream where as I was looking for a whitish ivory.
Again, its not terrible and I may keep it but just felt I wouldn't have ordered it if I knew how big it would be and how difficult it is to keep it looking nice and ironed.

Perfect type of kimono to wear over a sleeveless loungewear gown at home - the colour (blue) is a very pale shade of French blue, the material (viscose) is soft, the idea of adding tassels could be a nice decorative feature, however -
The tassels are dreadful, they are made of too thick a ply of yarn, this yarn must have been twisted when dyed, for the badly crumpled tassels cannot be straightened out even when dampened & ironed, they remain twisted & tangled, looking like they have been thru the wash a few dozen times - the tassels were tied on by hand, but the length of the strands are not even, the number of strands per tassel are not uniform, and they are too short for being made of such thick yarn - the only real remedy is to remove the tassels entirely & replace with new ones, or with tassel trim

This kimono is not worth the price it is being sold at, due to the poor quality of the tassels - the rest of it is quite nice

I wear it over a dark green, long sleeve casual top tee-shirt with jeans. I get tons of compliments, people asking where I got such a cute thing! It gets longer in the back, but not so long it looks goofy. I'm only 5'3" so I appreciate it when the length of something is good without the need for my work and time. It's just a sweet light over-jacket that's a bit odd, a little different, but turned out to be one of those very happy surprises! YAY!

This looked great in the pics but it is very cheaply made and there is a ton of extra material in the arm/chest area that just adds bulk to the overall fit and look. The tassels are awful and look like they have been wrung out wet and just dried out. I paid $35 and found something similar at Dillards for $20 with no tassels issues or fit issues. Save your money!
