Remove one strip from the bottle and replace the cap immediately. Dip reagent area of the strip in urine specimen for a few seconds then remove quickly. Tap to remove excess urine. Check results carefully within 60 seconds (no later) under good lighting and compare strip to color chart. To help maintain longevity of strips: Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and moisture; promptly replace cap; leave desiccants in bottle; keep lid tightly sealed and use within expiration date.

I purchased the UTI strips as my mother whom I care for, is on immune suppressing meds, and at risk for infection. My mum gets UTI's frequently, and sometimes her only symptom is mood change. It is helpful to test her urine before dragging her into the Dr. office. This is a great kit for the money, and the sealed bottle has two sealed packages, which saves even more money. The instructions were clear and strips were easy to use. Nurse Hatty even includes educational information regarding urinary health and prevention of UTI's. For the people complaining, there is a name brand strip kit that sells at the stores, 3 strips for $10-15, really? So test your urine every day, you are concerned about losing money.

I personally didn't need this uti kit but it was perfect to have around for my mother who is prone to have uti. When she starts to behave differently I used this kit to see if I need to take her to the doctor. Alter mental status is the worst for any elderly person. Catching the uti keeps her home too. No Iv at the hospital. It worked except you still have to get a urine test to get the right antibiotic for them. In this case, we caught it soon and gave her some cranberry juice. I hope it works and kicks it out.

Was having urinary issues and wanted to make sure things were in order. I saw these and it seems like you get the most for your dollar here but the packaging really doesn't make sense to me. It is touted that you get 2 sealed packs of 25 as if that is a really major feat. The documentation will make it seem like that is unheard of from any other company.
Then you find out that once the pack is open the strips will degrade naturally from being exposed to the elements. What good does it do to have a pack of 25? I mean is the whole family doing UTI tests every single day of the week to make sure to use up that pack?
Packs of 5 would make a whole lot more sense instead of just seeing them wasted. ESPECIALLY if you only end up using 1-5 and not needing more than that. Documentation included with this was also a little strange, not a fan of the attempted scientific explanations that when ACTUALLY researched are debunked.
I received emails for products I didn't even order from this company as well, which was particularly annoying.
Strips work though so 3 stars for that.

Super easy to use and the bonus is that you can also test for a UTI. A way better price than getting UTI strips at the drugstore.
