This bag is RAD! I’m grateful that I pulled the trigger and made the purchase! I have been looking for a sweet real leather brown purse for several months. I wanted something spacious, big, not too big and easy to access.
I was interested in leather as I like to purchase that I have for years. Vegan leather=plastic.
I think this item is beautiful!
Many access points.
Instructions on leather care come with the bag.
I look forward to the patina in leather as I use.

It’s absolutely beautiful & well made. It is goat leather. Not cow hide. Pretty stiff material but says it will loosen up with use.

The smell….uggh. Can’t put my finger on it. It’s not made with chemicals or anything. But oils to tan the goat hide. (Says it in the thank you and care insert). Im guessing it’s the oils or something. It’s kind of like you are painting a room with latex paint.
I’ve got it in the garage for a few days now. It is cold and raining, we have no sun forever now or I’d put it outside.
For me the strap needs to be cut down and a couple more holes added . if you are under 5’3” you will have a long crossbody or a really long shoulder bag with a whole lot of extra strap flapping. I’m gonna have it done professionally.
Please smell go away…🙃
Okay. I’ve had it out in the garage for the smell. Didn’t help much. We had a sunny freezing day yesterday so I put it outside allll day until the sun went down. Sooo much better. It’s starting to smell good!
I cut the steak down and made it a shoulder bag. Sewed the ends and sewed the strap together so there wasn’t flap.
I also flip front main leather strap under itself and clothes pinned it so I wouldn’t curl up.
Some may want a cross body but I don’t like how that essentuates my or others belly. Not cute.
It’s so darn cute now!!!

First, this bag is gorgeous! The leather is durable, and the color is beautiful. It is not necessarily an everyday bag if you need to go in and out of your handbag alot. I found that the bucket (is not very functional) and if you need to go in and out of your bag quickly, like at the store, to grab your phone, etc, it is a bit of a pain.

I do like the bag, but will no longer wear it out for errands.

Love the Look and Quality but...

Although I love the looks of this purse and am impressed by the quality of the leather and stitching, there were too many downsides to it for me to be able to use it comfortably.
Pros: Looks and feel; lots of organizing pockets; room for an iPad and wallet and so much more; the interior is well lined; and the leather smells wonderful.
Cons: Very uncomfortable cross shoulder strap (it hit me at a bad place on my neck, pushing on a nerve); heavy to carry for very long; some of the pockets inside are sloppy and the card holders allow the cards to just fall out; the loop on the shoulder strap that contains the floppy tail slides down and the loose strap ends flops all over (I used a cloth covered rubber band for pony tails to fix that.); the exterior pockets would be easier to use if they had a magnetic snap instead of the buckle.

I LOVE THIS!!! The reviews and the pictures by other buyers of this bag will tell you all you need to know. I don't have much to add. It is lighter in color than the picture, but that's because that bag is more aged and has been rubbed with mink oil or saddle soap, or some other leather conditioner. Just the way new baseball gloves are lighter and stiffer until they are conditioned and broken in, this purse is the same thing. And since it's processed naturally, there are some slight variances in color. So the complaints about the color being off, well I'm okay with that. If that is going to bother you, go to a department store and buy yourself one of those processed factory and machine made bags with no personality. This is a bag for adventurous free spirits, it's Indiana Jones, not 5th Ave.

This bag is going to age beautifully and last years. The smell? That's REAL naturally aged leather. While I love that "clean leather" smell that we all are familiar with, obtained by using nasty chemicals, this is the same smell just not as clean or processed smelling. I happen to love that. IF the smell is too strong, let it air for a few days. Then you'll only be able to smell it if you bury your next to it or a breeze wafts it your way. I like the smell (it was strong when I first got it, and I aired it out), now it's just lovely.
The strap is perfect for me I buckled it on the second to last hole and it fits right at my hip (I'm 5'5" tall and short waisted). Yes the snaps are a little tight and hard to manage at first. But use them and they get easier, OR use the buckles which really are not difficult to manage. I use the buckled on the flap and the snaps on the two front pockets. the buckle/snaps are easily converted to either use. And I received three extra buckle/snap replacements that are in a bag with a conditioning oil to keep the leather from drying out until such time as I should need them.

The green canvas interior is forest green and there are a lot of pockets in this. Two zippered and two without. Storage space is not an issue with this bag. there might be a little stickiness on the buckles and the zipper pulls from the leather conditioner they used. Simple use a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol to clean them.

Over all, this is one of the best purchases I have ever made.

I LOVE this purse! It is a great size, and it's clearly handmade. I've gotten many compliments on it. It comes in a smaller size, too, and that one is also beautiful! It came REALLY well packaged, and came with a letter about how it was made and how to care for it, which I really appreciated.

I was very impressed with this bag. It has good long strap for cross body wearing which many bags don’t have. It is a really useful size and practical. Not too big or too small. Nice set of pockets inside including an important zipper for more security. Well made and good value for money. It looks totally fab with that vintage vibe and will only get better with time I am sure. I didn’t find any smell unpleasant and it was carefully packaged. I would definitely recommend this product.
