Pretty expensive when compared to other eye drops. I have CDE so eye drops are a daily thing for me. These seem to be pretty moisturizing and I don’t have to use them as frequently as other types of eye drops. I am overall pleased with them. I would recommend them if you have very serious dry eyes. If you are an occasional eye drop user then this might be more than you need.

I've tried all the different kinds of drops because I have very bad dry eyes and allergies as well. These work the best and do not irritate my eyes at all, unlike other brands that actually make my eyes feel worse and make my eyelids swell and feel like I've got painful scratches n my eyes.

I think this brand just has better and less irritating ingredients.

They still cost a bit more than some of the cheaper brands, but work far better and cause no reaction either so it's worth it. I use one vial a day, and there is enough in each vial to use it multiple times over the course of the day, which the opthamologist says is fine as long as you don't use the same opened vial for over 24 hours.

I can also recommend Soothe XP preservative free, which is also good but sometimes my eyes get a bit itchy from Soothe so not as good as Retaine MGD. Soothe XP is about $5 less per box than Retaine, so if budget is a big concern, try the Soothe XP. But personally I decided that the better results I got from Retaine were worth the extra $5 a month.
