Recorded at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut on 25 November 2011, this concert captures a typically raw and energetic performance by Staind on the tour in support of their eponymous album released in September last year, their first tour to feature new drummer Sal Giancarelli. The show features tracks from the new album mixed in with classic songs from across their career including many of their hit singles. This is the first official Staind live album and is a precursor to the DVD & Blu-ray of the show which will be released later in the year.

I love live music and Live Staind is even better. The album is really well done. It's cleanly recorded and I think well produced.

There is not any NEW music but all of the songs are favorites of mines. I wish a few other more-favorites had been included over some of the songs on here but I'll take what I can get when it comes to Staind.

Also, compared to the DVD (which I also bought from Amazon) they removed Country Boy from the Mp3/CD version.
