I use these at work as a lawn sprinkler tech. I'm on my knees quite a bit, sometimes for extended periods of time. Concrete, asphalt, rock, sand, dirt, and grass. The only two complaints I have are the velcro fasteners give out well before the knee pads, and the price has nearly doubled in the last two years.
