I never cease to be amazed at the beauty and simplicity of wisdom culled from Jewish commentary on scripture, and this book is no exception. Taking the 10 Psalms determined by Rabbi Nachman of Breslov in the 18th century to be "healing Psalms," these observations cut right to the heart of key spiritual components often overlooked or easily disregarded in the midst of sickness and pain. They are a wonderful tool that can be used both collectively or individually and are great for meditative practice when faced with either physical or emotional distress. Simple, concise, insightful!

Rabbi Weintraub's "How to Read This Book" (how to make each Psalm your own) is wise. Be sure to read it more than once. Speech is slowly returning, yet I expect to turn to this little book from time to time.
